Even though we'll have to wait a while before re-entering the Upside Down, there is still plenty to get excited about when it comes to the small town of Hawkins. A Stranger Things maze was recently announced for Halloween Horror Nights in Hollywood, Orlando, and Singapore, and now two new additions to the cast have been announced.

Netflix revealed that Cary Elwes will play Hawkins Mayor Kline in season 3 of Stranger Things. "Handsome, slick, and sleazy," Kline has been described as being a "classic 80s politician" who is "more concerned with his own image than with the people of the small town he governs."

Jake Busey, who will co-star in the new Predator movie, is also coming on board to play "a journalist for the The Hawkins Post with questionable morals and a sick sense of humor."

Elwes and Busey join the cast of surviving characters from the first two seasons, as well as fellow newcomer to the show, Maya Thurman-Hawke, who will play Robin, "an alternative girl who is equal parts sharp and playful. Bored with her mundane day job, she just wants a little excitement in her life… and gets more than she bargained for when she uncovers a dark secret in Hawkins."

A premiere date and further plot details have yet to be announced, but we'll keep Daily Dead readers updated on more casting info as it comes in. What do you think of the new additions to the cast?
