Prometheus left many unanswered questions, but it also felt like many of the scenes were cut short. You'll get some of your answers and additional footage in the deleted scenes that are being released with the Prometheus Blu-ray. If you'd like to get a taste of what you can expect, we have a photo and teaser trailer recently released by Fox.

It is our understanding that the scenes are standalone and will not be merged into the actual film. However, we wouldn't be surprised to see an extended director's cut down the line. The film will be released to Blu-ray and DVD on October 9th and is already available on digital formats.
