We attended a press conference for The Walking Dead Season 4 earlier today and will be sharing that with readers in the coming days. Some of the interesting details we've learned include the news that David Goyer will be directing a Season 4, a new threat will be introduced this season, we were told that Morgan will return, and new webisodes were semi-confirmed. I'll be interviewing the main cast and producers later today, so we'll more details on Season 4 and what was shown off in the trailer. Here is the official information just released by AMC:
"In the highly anticipated new season, we find Rick and the group fostering a thriving community in the safe haven of the prison. Sadly, in this brutal world, happiness is short-lived and walkers and outside threats are no match for danger brewing inside the fences. The group’s home and new way of life will be thoroughly tested, and their struggle to survive has never been so perilous. Season 4 also introduces several new characters including Bob Stookey (Lawrence Gilliard Jr., “The Wire”)."
The 16-episode fourth season is once again filming in Georgia, with the first episode airing on October 13th. The Walking Dead Season 4 trailer has been included below, along with recent photo releases. Catch up on our recent coverage of The Walking Dead by visiting the following links:
